A big congratulations to Takuto Hayashi who took this winning image from our day out in Harajuku!
Takuto will receive a copy of the photography book “Understanding Exposure” (Revised Edition) by Bryan Peterson, a how to on shooting great photographs with film or digital cameras. Congratulations and we hope you enjoy your prize.
A big thank you and well done to everyone who participated. We had a great day out with you all and really enjoyed your images from the day.
On 17 September 2012, we held a Photo Walk around Harajuku, Tokyo, as a fun afternoon out and fundraiser for It’s Not Just Mud, a non-profit volunteer organization based in Ishinomaki that provides disaster relief and grass-roots support to those affected by the March 11 disasters.
As a fun incentive and photography challenge, participants submitted their favorite/best photograph from the day to enter into our photo contest!
We posted the entries on our Facebook page. The contest was simple: the photo with the most “likes” after a week of voting would receive the prize!
If you’re in the Tokyo area and missed our Harajuku event, you can rest easy, because the next installment in our Tokyo Photo Walk series will take place on Monday, 8 October 2012 (a Japanese national holiday) at Mt. Takao.
Come out and join photographer Hai Huynh on a photo walk through one of Tokyo’s most picturesque, natural locations!
It will be a great opportunity to get out and about with your camera, have fun, discuss all things photography and meet new people.
All photography levels welcome, whether you own a smartphone, point and shoot or DSLR.
We will once again be holding a photo contest! The participant with the winning entry will receive a JOBY GorillaPod Hybrid in grey – your perfect travel companion!
