Are you interested in blood type bath salts? That’s right, the Japanese have come up with bath salts compatible with your blood type! In Japan, it is a widely held belief that your blood type determines your characteristics. Here’s what they say:
Blood Type A
Type A’s are considered to be highly organized, particular, precise, pay attention to detail, perfectionists. They like things to be done a certain way which can be perceived as annoying by others. They also tend to be fairly quiet and shy, like to listen and follow along with conversations rather than leading them. Type A’s are sensitive and take things to heart.
Blood Type B
Type B’s are easy-going, relaxed and bubbly. They are very honest and say what they think which, depending on the circumstances, can be perceived as a good characteristic or as selfish. They can concentrate but only on things that interest them, and have a tendency to go on about things that are of little or no interest to those around them.
Blood Type O
Type O’s are your anything goes, personable, get along with everybody types. Because of this, they are often viewed as good mediators or problem solvers. They don’t like to do tedious or highly detailed work. Type O’s are big picture, visionary and self-confident. Although their over self-confidence at times may be viewed as arrogant.
Blood Type AB
The rarest blood type, AB’s are often considered to have dual personalities: the precise and particular qualities of the A group along with the free-spiritedness of the B’s. They tend to be creative and inquisitive and, interestingly, most geniuses are said to come from the AB group.

What did I think?
Scent: As the name “Peppermint Blue” might suggest, this was a very minty, fresh scent. It reminded me of the ocean although that may also be because of the color! It was a strong scent coming out of the pack but once it was mixed into the water, the fragrance was also diluted. While the scent was still noticeable, it was not overpowering. If you like minty scents, then this may be the one for you.
Color: The color was quite an intense aquamarine. It really stuck to me when I put some of it on my hands. While it was nothing that didn’t wash off immediately once rinsed in the water, I would be mindful of getting it on your clothes, especially being the strong blue color that it is. I’m not sure if I am a huge fan of the highly colored water but it certainly did give that lagoon ambiance. If you want to feel like a mermaid or merman then this will probably do it! I did feel a little strange about using the blue water to wash my face, however, I must say that it didn’t color my skin at all or the bath tub for the period of time that I used it, 15-20 minutes. I would still suggest rinsing the bathtub as recommended to ensure there is no discoloration.
Overall, this was a fun novelty product to try. If you want to try it too, enter the giveaway for your chance to win!

Good post but I’m still confused. What’s really the difference between bath salt and epsom salt?
Hi Dean, thanks for stopping by and commenting! Epsom salt can be used as a bath salt. Surprising, it’s not a “salt” at all, it’s magnesium sulphate in crystal form so it has a salt-like appearance, hence the common name “Epsom salt”. Bath salts is just a term that encompasses any salt or granular-type mix we add to a bath, Epsom salts, sea salts etc.
